Approximability and Gromov width of Lagrangians

Abstract: I will describe recent work joint with Giovanni Ambrosioni and Paul Biran ( both from ETH) that ties certain bounds of Lagrangian Gromov  width to a categorified  notion of approximability first introduced by Alan Turing in the study of Lie groups.
