Putnam Club meeting (series unlisted)

Mon Oct 5, 20:45-21:45 (2 weeks ago)

Abstract: The Putnam Club will run again this semester. The purpose of the club is to develop students' problem-solving skills and to prepare them for competitions such as the CUNY Math Challenge, the Prize Examinations, and the prestigious Putnam Competition (a competition held every December that includes most colleges from the U.S. and Canada). The club will be held through regular meetings on Mondays from 4:45PM to 5:45PM in Ingersoll-1146. Problems from old contests will be discussed. Students will be encouraged share solutions and ask questions. Students are encouraged to participate in the club regardless of whether or not they are eligible or available to participate in any of the competitions.

Students with questions should contact: david.aulicino@brooklyn.cuny.edu
