Artificial geometry for spline models construction
Sofia Imperatore (U. Florence)
Abstract: For centuries mathematics has been an activity carried out by humans for humans. In recent years, a new perspective has arisen, in which Mathematics is an activity that humans and machines perform for humans and machines. In the seminar, this duality will be exploited with respect to deep learning architectures and free-form geometric CAD model construction. In particular, the talk will investigate different neural network architectures to address the parameterization problem within the spline fitting framework.
