On the geometry and topology of 3-manifolds with Positive Scalar Curvature

Abstract: In these talks, we will discuss classical and recent results about 3-manifolds with positive scalar curvature. We will describe their topology and show how they can be (singularly) foliated by surfaces of controlled area, diameter and genus.
