This event is part of the wordwide initiative "May 12: Celebrating women in Mathematics", which is held every year on the anniversary of Maryam Mirzakhani’s birthday (for more information visit: may12.womeninmaths.org/ )

This year, the event organized by the Department of Mathematics of the University of Rome Tor Vergata will see a lecture by Prof. Maria Colombo (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne) on "The transport equation", with an opening address by the journalist Roberta Fulci.
