The goal of this seminar is to bring a group of interested educators together, to talk about issues concerning teachig and learning of undergraduate mathematics, and to discuss possible approaches to address these issues. While teaching and learning of mathematics has its own unique features, it also shares certain aspects with teaching and learning in the broader sense. Thus, some of the talks in this seminar may not be specific to teaching and learning of mathematics, but certainly relevant to it. In addition to being socially connecting, I hope this seminar can motivate participants to think about their own teaching and learning practices and encourage them to experiment with some of the ideas that they hear about in the seminar.
