 n Continuum Mechanics\n\n\nAbstract\nIn this talk\, I will discuss the int
 erplay between the martensitic transformation and the plastic deformation 
 in polycrystalline NiTi- alloys. I will then propose a phenomenological\, 
 macroscopic model capturing both effects within the generalized standard m
 aterials modelling framework. Special attention will be paid to distinguis
 hing dependent and independent processes and their accurate modelling. Thi
 s is a joint work with Miroslav Frost\, Martin Kružík\, Petr Sedlák and
  Hanuš Seiner.\n
