Abstract: The geometry of algebraic curves is governed by the existence and behavior of linear series. In this talk, we will discuss a tropical analogue of linear series on series tropical curves. Time permitting, we will discuss applications and state a number of open problems related to algebraic, combinatorial, and topological properties of tropical linear series.
