 stract\nI will discuss the bulk mechanism of the stringy exclusion princip
 le in the $AdS_3/CFT_2$ case. Consider the duality between string theory o
 n $AdS_3 \\times S^3 \\times M_4$ and $Sym^N(M_4)$. At finite $N$\, both t
 he chiral-chiral spectrum and the number of the polar terms of the ellipti
 c genus are finite. I will show that these finite-N spectra can be recover
 ed by summing over the corresponding contribution from the  $(AdS_3 \\tim
 es S^3)/Z_k \\times M_4$ orbifolds. Although each orbifold contributes an 
 infinite series\, their sum reproduces the finite-$N$ boundary data due to
  the large cancellations induced by the bosonic negative modes of the orbi
 fold saddles.\n
