ntinuous structurally fractal functions defined in terms of the $Q_s$-repr
esentation and nega-$Q_s$-representation of numbers (Ph.D. student's repor
t)</a>\nby Volodymyr Yelahin (Institute of Mathematics\, Natl. Acad. Sci.
Ukraine) as part of Семінар з фрактального аналі
зу / Fractal analysis seminar\n\n\nAbstract\nThe Ph.D. student will repo
rt on his progress in completing the individual plan of study as well as t
he education and research program. This event is open\, i.e.\, everyone is
welcome to join the seminar and participate in the discussion.\n\nHis res
earch lies on the border of the constructive theory of functions with loca
lly complicated structure and fractal properties\, theory of encoding of r
eal numbers\, metric and probabilistic number theory. The dissertation foc
uses on the applications of finite-symbol representations of real numbers
with zero redundancy\, such as the $Q_s$-representation and nega-$Q_s$-rep
resentation\, in the constructive theory of functions with structurally fr
actal properties defined on the interval $[0\, 1]$.\n
