Ukraine) as part of Семінар з фр актального аналізу / Fractal analysis seminar\n\n\nAbstra ct\nДоповідь присвячено взаємозв'язку дво х напрямів сучасних наукових досліджень : 1) геометрії числових рядів\, ядром якої є тополого-метричний і фрактальний анал із множин неповних сум (підсум) числових рядів\, і 2) теорії нескінченних згорток Б ернуллі\, які є розподілами сум збіжних р ядів незалежних дискретних випадкових в еличин.\n\nОкрему увагу буде приділено пр облемам\, пов'язаним зі згортками сингул ярних розподілів\, зокрема сингулярних р озподілів канторівського типу\, зі струк турними і спектральними властивостями н ескінченних згорток Бернуллі\, з поведін кою модуля характеристичної функції на нескінченності тощо.\n\nThe talk is devoted to interrela tion between two directions of modern scientific research: 1) the geometry of numerical series whose kernel is a topological\, metric\, and fractal analysis of sets of incomplete sums (subsums) of numerical series and 2) t he theory of infinite Bernoulli convolutions\, which are probability distr ibutions of sums of convergent series of independent discrete random varia bles.\n\nProblems related to convolutions of singular probability distribu tions\, particularly Cantor-type singular probability distributions\, to s tructural and spectral properties of infinite Bernoulli convolutions\, to behaviour of the absolute value of a characteristic function at infinity\, etc. will be discussed in detail.\n LOCATION:https://researchseminars.org/talk/fran/41/ END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
