DESCRIPTION:Title: <a href="https://researchseminars.org/talk/UKYhepth/9/"
 >Calculating Nature Naturally</a>\nby Natalie Klco (U. Washington) as part
of Theoretical Physics Seminars (Kentucky)\n\n\nAbstract\nStudying nature
directly from fundamental degrees of freedom is often computationally lim
ited by \nphysical characteristics of exponentially growing configuration
(Hilbert) spaces with particle number \nand signal-to-noise problems. This
leaves many systems of interest to nuclear and particle physics \nintract
able for known algorithms with current and foreseeable classical computati
onal resources. By \nleveraging their natural capacity to describe entangl
ed many-body states\, the use of quantum systems \nthemselves to form a co
mputational framework is envisioned to be advantageous. In this talk\, I
will \nshare a developing perspective on the entanglement structure of qua
ntum fields and discuss implications \nfor their efficient simulation on q
 uantum computational architectures.\n
