 uch upon the subject of sheaf counting on 3-dimensional complex varieties.
  In particular\, we will discuss the necessity to look for (and compute) m
 ore refined invariants than just just bare numbers. This is a general (old
 ) mathematical principle\, for instance realised when one decides to study
  the cohomology ring of a space instead of just focusing on its Euler char
 acteristic.\n
