DESCRIPTION:Title: <a href="https://researchseminars.org/talk/UCSD_NTS/156
/">The Fargues-Scholze Correspondence over the Semisimple Generic Locus</a
 >\nby Nikolas Castro (UC San Diego) as part of UCSD number theory seminar\
n\nLecture held in APM 7321.\n\nAbstract\nThe moduli of semisimple generic
L-parameters\, introduced by Hansen\, is a dense open substack of the mod
uli stack of L-parameters\, and it is expected to be the largest open subs
tack for which Fargues-Scholze’s categorical local Langlands corresponde
nce can be understood reasonably explicitly. In this talk we show that mu
ch of the correspondence over this locus can indeed be made explicit\, ass
uming certain properties of the correspondence such as geometric Eisenstei
n compatibility (currently known for GL(2)).\n\npre-talk at 3pm\n
