 D. Rathore\, K. Roumpedakis and M. Gutperle.  We construct non-invertible 
 defects in S_N symmetric orbifolds  and discuss the spectrum of defect ope
 rators\, Ward-identities\, entanglement entropy in the presence of defects
  as well as a proposal for a world sheet dual of the topological defects i
 n the AdS/CFT dual of the symmetric orbifold.\n
