  correspondence between topological order in 2+1d\, i.e.\nmodular tensor c
 ategories (MTCs) and Seifert three-manifolds together\nwith a choice of AD
 E gauge group G.  The correspondence defines for\nevery Seifert manifold a
 nd choice of G a fusion category\, which we\nconjecture to be modular when
 ever the Seifert manifold has trivial\nfirst homology group with coefficie
 nts in the center of G.  The\nconstruction determines the spins of anyons 
 and their S-matrix\, and\nprovides a constructive way to determine the R- 
 and F-symbols from\nsimple building blocks. We explore the possibility tha
 t this\ncorrespondence provides an alternative classification of MTCs\, wh
 ich\nis put to the test by realizing all MTCs (unitary or non-unitary) wit
 h\nrank $r\\leq 5$ in terms of Seifert manifolds and a choice of Lie group
 \nG.\n
