DESCRIPTION:Title: <a href="https://researchseminars.org/talk/SymSem/55/">
 Self-duality under gauging non-invertible symmetries in 2d CFT</a>\nby Zhe
ngdi Sun (UCLA) as part of Symmetry Seminar\n\n\nAbstract\nIt is well-know
n that a QFT which is self-dual under gauging invertible symmetries generi
 cally admits a non-invertible duality defect (e.g. Kramers-Wannier duality
defect in 2d Ising CFT). In this talk\, we will discuss the self-duality
under gauging non-invertible symmetries in 2d CFT based on the work [arXiv
:2310.19867]. We will first use the symmetry $Rep(H_8)$ as an example to d
emonstrate how to gauge non-invertible symmetries in 2d CFT\, and then rep
ort some examples of self-duality under gauging $Rep(H_8)$. Finally\, we d
escribe the fusion categories containing the new duality defect arising fr
om the self-duality under gauging $Rep(H_8)$.\n
