These can be further distinguished in discrete\, rational and continuous\ , each case leading to different physics upon breaking. We first review th e case of discrete axial/R-symmetry\, analyzing both supersymmetric and no n-supersymmetric cases. We then consider the case of duality and triality symmetries\, and how they can be broken at the end of an RG flow. We final ly consider the peculiar case of continuous non-invertible Nambu-Goldstone bosons\, that parametrize an orbifold.
