">ROOM 7: Isomorphisms and extensions of uniserial modules</a>\nby Gabriel
la D'Este (University of Milano) as part of Sherbrooke Meeting on Represen
tation Theory of Algebras\, Corona Edition (fully online)\n\n\nAbstract\nT
he first open problems in Auslander - Reiten - Smalo book " Representat
ion\nTheory of Artin algebras " deal with uniserial modules. In particu
lar Problem 1\ndeals with the isomorphism problem for uniserial modules\,
while Problem 3\ndeals with the extension problem for the same modules.\nI
will present a partial solution to Problems 1 and 3 obtained in two joi
nt\npapers with Fatma Kaynarca and Derya Keskin Tutuncu.\nConcerning the
  isomorphism problem\, we obtain a " two fixed point\ntheorem" . Finally
\, concerning the extension problem we obtain a\n" two terms in the middle
theorem" .\nGoogle and the words " Isomorphism problem for uniserial modu
les over\narbitrary rings " give the file of our first paper in Comm. Alge
bra (April 2020).\nGoogle and the words " Forthcoming articles\, Mathemat
ics\, Padova " \ngive the link to our second paper " Extensions of unise
rial modules " \,\nacceped for publication in Rendiconti del Seminario Mat
 ematico\ndell'Università di Padova.\n
