 Abstract: I will discuss how to use a particle-physics approach to derive 
 classical observables relevant to gravitational binaries. The tool used to
  link quantum and classical observables is the gravitational eikonal. As a
 n example I will derive the eikonal for massive scalars (i.e. Schwarzschil
 d black holes) up to the 3PM approximation and show how to obtain both con
 servative and radiative observables.\n
