DESCRIPTION:Title: <a href="https://researchseminars.org/talk/SIMBa/25/">P
esin's theory in a transcendental setting</a>\nby Anna Jové (Universitat
de Barcelona) as part of Barcelona Mathematics Informal Seminar (SIMBa)\n\
nLecture held in FMI (UB): aula IA.\n\nAbstract\nRoughly speaking\, Pesin'
s theory for R^n diffeomorphisms states that the asymptotical contraction
or expansion around almost-every orbit is controlled by the Lyapunov expon
ents (as long as none of them is zero). For rational maps\, this translate
s into well-defined generic inverse branches around almost-everywhere in t
he Julia set (Przytycki). In this talk\, I will explain the previous state
ments\, and I will discuss its possible generalizations to transcendental
 maps (Fagella-J.).\n
