 n\n\nAbstract\nI will explain recent work with G. Szucs (arXiv:1805.12342)
  studying a category $\\mathrm{Cob}_d^G$ whose objects are closed $(d-1)$-
 manifolds equipped with an action of a finite group $G$\, and whose morphi
 sms are equivariant cobordisms. The main result determines the homotopy ty
 pe of the classifying space of this category in terms of equivariant stabl
 e homotopy theory. Time permitting\, I will outline why this may be a step
  towards an equivariant Madsen-Weiss theorem.\n
