 nCarrollian physics provides a new geometric lens to describe lightlike\, 
 or null\, hypersurfaces. In this talk\, I will introduce the basic tools a
 nd concepts in order to define the Carrollian structure and explain how it
  naturally captures the intrinsic geometry of null manifolds. I will then 
 show how to induce this structure directly from an ambient spacetime\, and
  how the familiar geometric relations of general relativity\, such as the 
 Gauss-Codazzi equations and Einstein’s equations\, appear in this settin
 g. Along the way\, I will highlight connections with the BMS symmetry grou
 p and the emerging role of Carrollian structures in gravitational physics 
 and holography.\n
