 ecently\, an exact triality relation has been established in the well stud
 ied multi slit interference phenomenon\, which surprisingly involves entan
 glement. Interestingly\, this relationship involves the which path informa
 tion\, coherence and a specific geometric measure of entanglement\, known 
 as I-concurrence\, which has found experimental verification. We demonstra
 te that\, this formalism naturally extends to the description of the trans
 ition path ways in the Dicke state\, explaining the role of entanglement i
 n the sub and superradiance behaviour of this well studied system.\n
