DESCRIPTION:Title: <a href="https://researchseminars.org/talk/PHSeminar/37
/">Well-posedness and stability of infinite-dimensional systems under mono
tone feedback: Application to boundary controlled port-Hamiltonian systems
</a>\nby Anthony Hastir (University of Namur) as part of Port-Hamiltonian
Seminar (pH Seminar)\n\n\nAbstract\nWe study the well-posedness and stabil
ity of an impedance passive infinite-dimensional linear system under nonli
near monotone feedback. In particular\, we establish the existence of stro
ng and generalised solutions of the closed-loop system and we introduce co
nditions guaranteeing that the origin is a globally asymptotically stable
equilibrium point of the closed-loop system. We use our results to investi
gate the well-posedness and stability of boundary controlled port-Hamilton
 ian systems.\n
