DESCRIPTION:Title: <a href="https://researchseminars.org/talk/NSCM/154/">R
eal micropolar gas flow model</a>\nby Angela Bašič-Šiško (University o
f Rijeka) as part of Nečas Seminar on Continuum Mechanics\n\nLecture held
in Room K3\, Faculty of Mathematics and Physics\, Charles University\, S
okolovská 83 Prague 8..\n\nAbstract\nThe micropolar real gas model\, whi
ch extends the traditional fluid\n dynamics model to account for micro-eff
ects\, is explored. This model\n introduces additional rotational degrees
of freedom to capture the\n behavior of the internal fluid structure. By i
ncorporating the\n equation\n of state for real gases\, a shift from the i
deal gas model to a more\n general case is achieved. The mathematical fram
ework of this model is\n discussed\, and results on the existence\, unique
ness\, and large-time\n behavior of the solution for one-dimensional and s
pherically symmetric\n flows are presented.\n Furthermore\, we consider co
mbustion within the fluid to form the\n reactive micropolar real gas model
. This model additionally\n incorporates\n the chemical reactivity of the
gas mixture\, enabling the simulation of\n reactive flows such as fuel com
bustion\, detonation in aerospace\n engineering\, and the modeling of gase
ous stars. Results on the\n well-posedness of this model are also presente
 d.\n
