 blems in Continuum Mechanics. Yet from the mathematical point of view many
  of the important issues behind are formally similar\, after suitable non-
 local reinterpretation of tools\, to the classic local framework. Though t
 his is no doubt surprising and reassuring\, we will try to push non-locali
 ty to find some situations where things are really different. Some of the 
 simplest examples will serve to illustrate how different things may be.\n
