DESCRIPTION:Title: <a href="https://researchseminars.org/talk/NSCM/124/">C
ANCELED</a>\nby Marco Bresciani (Department of Mathematics\, University of
Erlangen) as part of Nečas Seminar on Continuum Mechanics\n\nLecture hel
d in Room K3\, Faculty of Mathematics and Physics\, Charles University\,
Sokolovská 83 Prague 8..\n\nAbstract\nWe study a variational model for f
erromagnetic elastomers featuring a mixed Eulerian-Lagrangian formulation.
The magnetic variable is defined on the deformed configuration\nin the ac
tual space and the saturation constraint involves the Jacobian determinant
of\ndeformations.\nFirst\, in the case for purely elastic materials\, we
discuss the existence of equilibrium\nconfigurations and we investigate th
e model under quasistatic evolution in the rate-independent setting. Subse
quently\, we address the extension of the existence theory for\nthe static
problem to a framework allowing for cavitation.\nThe talk is partly based
on joint work with Manuel Friedrich (FAU Erlangen-Nuernberg)\nand Carlos
 Mora-Corral (Universidad Autonoma de Madrid).\n
