DESCRIPTION:Title: <a href="https://researchseminars.org/talk/NSCM/114/">L
imit theorems for multifractal products of random fields</a>\nby Illia D
onhauzer (La Trobe University) as part of Nečas Seminar on Continuum Mech
anics\n\nLecture held in Room K3\, Faculty of Mathematics and Physics\, C
harles University\, Sokolovská 83 Prague 8..\n\nAbstract\nThe talk is ab
out random functions with changing local regularity\n exponent (multifract
al processes and multifractal fields in multidimensional\n cases). This ty
pe of random function has been observed in various areas\n including commu
 nication systems\, precipitation fields\, econometrics\, and so\n on. The
goal of this talk is to present new results in the modeling of\n multifrac
tal random functions. One of the possible approaches to obtain\n multifrac
tal random functions is as limits of multifractal products of\n random fun
ctions (roughly speaking\, integrals of infinite products of random\n func
tions). In the talk\, I will show new results on the existence of those\n
limits in the spaces Lq as well as new results on the rate of convergence.
\n The developed methodology is also applied to multidimensional multifrac
tal\n measures. Finally\, I will show a new class of examples of geometric
\n φ-sub-Gaussian random functions when the general assumptions have a si
mple\n form and can be expressed in terms of covariance functions only.\n
