">Recent results in phenomenology of light gauge bosons and dark matter</a
 >\nby Eduardo Peinado (Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM)) a
s part of NKUA HEP Seminars\n\nLecture held in Nuclear and Particle Physic
 s Division\, Seminar Room\, 3rd floor.\n\nAbstract\nThe Standard Model has
been confirmed with high precision across a wide range of energies in num
erous experiments. The LHC has significantly constrained new physics\, pus
hing potential discoveries to energy scales above the TeV range. Despite t
his\, a light gauge boson remains a compelling extension to the Standard M
odel\, mainly due to its testability in upcoming low-energy experiments. I
n this talk\, we will review the potential effects of light gauge bosons i
 n current and future low-energy experiments\, such as CEvNS\, parity-viola
ting electron scattering\, and electron-positron annihilation. Furthermore
\, dark matter direct detection experiments provide complementary search s
trategies if the new gauge boson mediates between the dark and visible sec
 tors.\n
