  introduction of Duality (in Physics) and AdS/CFT as an application of the
 se ideas. After that and more technically\, I will discuss how one can use
  some techniques developed by string theorists to study non perturbative a
 spects of Quantum Field Theories that undergo phenomena like confinement\,
  symmetry breaking\, screening\, etc. The examples discussed will be taken
  from the papers I published in the last year.\n
