Winning property of counterexamples to Uniform Littlewood’s Conjecture</
a>\nby Chengyang Wu (University of Chicago) as part of New England Dynamic
s and Number Theory Seminar\n\nLecture held in Online.\n\nAbstract\nLittle
wood’s conjecture is a long-standing open problem in multiplicative Diop
hantine approximation. Its uniform version was recently disproved by Schle
 ischitz\, as expected by Bandi\, Fregoli\, and Kleinbock in 2025. A natura
l follow-up question concerns the Hausdorff dimension of the set of its co
unterexamples. In this talk\, we present a new approach to studying the st
ructure of this set and establish a winning property for it. The key ingre
dient is an adaptation of An’s simplex lemma (2016). In particular\, our
result implies that\, for any two-dimensional weight\, the intersection o
f the counterexample set with the corresponding set of weighted badly appr
oximable vectors has full Hausdorff dimension. This is a joint work with V
 asiliy Neckrasov and Bohan Yang.\n
