 A zero–one law for twisted Diophantine approximation</a>\nby Taehyeong K
im (Brandeis University) as part of New England Dynamics and Number Theory
Seminar\n\nLecture held in Online.\n\nAbstract\nWe study twisted Diophant
ine approximation\, where the matrix is fixed and the target varies. I wil
l present an exact Lebesgue measure zero–one law for arbitrary matrices
and non-increasing approximation functions satisfying dyadic regularity. T
he criterion corrects the usual volume sum by homogeneous lattice-point co
unts and can be expressed through all successive minima of an associated d
iagonal lattice trajectory\, capturing clustering in every direction. I wi
ll also discuss applications to inhomogeneous approximation constants and
Hausdorff dimension. This talk is based on a joint project with Vasiliy Ne
ckrasov\; the other part establishes Hausdorff dimension formulae in unifo
 rm twisted Diophantine approximation.\n
