 tps://www.youtube.com/channel/UCrlS3CuPlahBp_M46fDaWVw/videos\nLecture hel
d in Jefferson 368.\n\nAbstract\nBootLoops is an open-source harness for l
arge language models aimed at exact\, checkable quantitative science. Orig
inating in scattering amplitudes and Feynman integrals\, it seeks problems
whose mathematical structure recurs across disciplines\, from cosmology a
nd string theory to population genetics\, ecology\, genomics\, and linguis
tics. I will describe the principles behind BootLoops – checkability\, b
readth\, tool-building\, and adversarial vetting – and discuss how AI ca
n help connect distant regions of scientific knowledge by finding ‘Claud
e-shaped’ problems that are especially well-suited to current models.\n
