In this talk we build on work of Bar-Natan and Dancso and identify solutions of the Kashiwara--Verg ne equations with isomorphisms of (completed) wheeled props of "welded tan gled foams" -- a class of knotted surfaces in $\\mathbb{R}^4$. As a conseq uence\, we identify the symmetry groups of the Kashiwara-Vergne equations with automorphisms of our (completed) wheeled props.
