 >Non-Fermi liquid quantum critical points and IR divergencies</a>\nby Jere
mias Aguilera Damia (Centro Atomico Bariloche) as part of Kadanoff seminar
s\n\n\nAbstract\nThe study of metallic Quantum Critical Points with dynami
cs falling beyond the Fermi Liquid paradigm is well-motivated by experimen
tal observations in Strange Metals. Even from a purely theoretical point o
f view\, the description of these systems by means of a fully consistent Q
FT stands as a challenging task. In this talk\, we describe a particular
Quantum Critical Point displaying Non-Fermi Liquid dynamics\, arising by c
oupling a Fermi Surface to a gapless boson. We extend the description to f
inite temperatures by proposing a mechanism to resolve the singular behavi
or associated to static bosons\, thus leading to a consistent characteriza
tion of the Quantum Critical Region. We also comment on the phenomenologic
 al implications of our results.\n
