 inar\n\n\nAbstract\nIn this talk we first introduce modular forms and an a
 rithmetically particularly interesting generalization: harmonic weak Maass
  forms. We show how these forms can be related to elliptic curves. Special
  harmonic Maass forms encode the vanishing of the central L-value and L-de
 rivative which occur in the Birch and Swinnerton-Dyer Conjecture. (This is

 ng upon work of Jan Bruinier an Ken Ono.)\n
