 oped by Tamura and Yasuda in 2010\, Spiral Optimization Algorithm (SOA) is
  a metaheuristic method for finding numerical solutions to optimization pr
 oblems. We improved the optimization capability of the algorithm by adding
  the Clustering scheme\, so it can find local and global optimums. The met
 hod has performed very well in solving many problems\, including real-worl
 d problems\, finding real and complex roots\, and Diophantine equations.\n
