">The Geometry of Relativistic Hydrodynamics</a>\nby Nikita Nekrasov (Simo
ns Center for Geometry and Physics) as part of High Energy Theory NYU Abu
Dhabi\n\nLecture held in NYU Abu Dhabi Experimental Research Building.\n\n
Abstract\nHydrodynamics is usually presented as a system of partial differ
ential equations expressing conservation of mass\, momentum\, and energy.
In this lecture I will describe a complementary geometric point of view. F
or a relativistic fluid\, the basic variables live naturally in spacetime\
, and the equations can be formulated in terms of currents\, differential
 forms\, vorticity\, and stress-energy. I will explain how this viewpoint b
rings Poisson and symplectic geometry into relativistic fluid dynamics\, s
tarting from the ideal fluid and then indicating some extensions\, includi
 ng charged fluids\, entropy\, spin\, and electromagnetic interactions.\n
