 rteen years\, a variety of swampland conditions have been proposed with va
 rious degrees of rigor. In this talk\, I will discuss tests of some of the
 se conjectures that do not rely on specific string theory constructions. T
 hey include constraints on symmetry\, strength of gravitational couplings\
 , cobordism between theories\, and issues with lower dimensional theories.
