 om the tensor hierarchy. The needed higher algebraic structures can be der
 ived from a differential graded Lie algebra.\nI outline how exceptional fi
 eld theory fits into this scheme by showing that its generalized geometric
  structures can be naturally interpreted in terms of an embedding tensor m
 ap and an infinite-dimensional Lie algebra.\n\n(Seminar starts one hour la
