DESCRIPTION:Title: <a href="https://researchseminars.org/talk/EGSS/2/">Loc
al beta-shifts and alpha'-corrections</a>\nby Riccardo Borsato (Santiago d
e Compostela U.\, IGFAE) as part of Exceptional geometry seminar series\n\
 n\nAbstract\nLocal (i.e. non-constant) beta shifts of O(D\,D) are a soluti
on-generating technique in supergravity\, when additional conditions are i
mposed on beta. In the literature this construction has been known as "hom
ogeneous Yang-Baxter deformation"\, and it was first introduced to generat
e integrable deformations of 2d sigma-models. Interest on such deformation
s is also motivated by their relation to non-abelian T-duality. In this ta
lk I will review some aspects of this subject and I will explain how to ob
tain alpha'-corrections for the deformed backgrounds by exploiting the Dou
 ble Field Theory formulation.\n
