DESCRIPTION:Title: <a href="https://researchseminars.org/talk/CTA/81/">Ran
k and Randomness (Cancelled)</a>\nby Rupert Hölzl (UniBw Munich) as part
of Computability theory and applications\n\n\nAbstract\nThis talk has been
cancelled and will be moved to a later date.\n\nWe show that for each com
putable ordinal $\\alpha&gt\;0$ it is possible to find in\neach Martin-Lö
 f random $\\Delta^0_2$ degree a sequence $R$ of Cantor-Bendixson\nrank $\\
alpha$\, while ensuring that the sequences that inductively witness $R$'s\
nrank are all Martin-Löf random with respect to a single countably suppor
ted\nand computable measure. This is a strengthening for random degrees of
  a recent\nresult of Downey\, Wu\, and Yang\, and can be understood as a r
andomized version\nof it. (Joint result with Christopher P. Porter.)\n
