DESCRIPTION:Title: <a href="https://researchseminars.org/talk/CTA/45/">The
Reverse Mathematics of Noether's Decomposition Lemma</a>\nby Chris Conidi
s (CUNY College of Staten Islan) as part of Computability theory and appli
cations\n\n\nAbstract\nWe will survey some recent results in the Reverse M
athematics of Noetherian Algebra\, and in particular Noether's Decompositi
on Lemma which states that a Noetherian ring has only finitely many minima
l prime ideals. Such an analysis naturally leads one to formulate a combin
atorial principle\, namely the Tree-Antichain Principle\, which states tha
t every binary-branching tree with infinitely many splittings has an infin
 ite antichain.\n
