DESCRIPTION:Title: <a href="https://researchseminars.org/talk/CJCS/97/">In
jective spaces\, Helly graphs\, and their automorphism groups</a>\nby Dami
an Osajda (KU) as part of Copenhagen-Jerusalem Combinatorics Seminar\n\nLe
cture held in Aud. 5 HCØ (KU).\n\nAbstract\nInjective metric spaces are c
lassical and important (injective) objects studied within metric geometry.
Their combinatorial counterpart are Helly graphs.\nI will present basic f
acts in the two settings and show how they relate to each other.\nThen I w
ill focus on groups acting by automorphisms on Helly graphs. Recently\, \n
it has been shown that many classical groups\, including Gromov hyperbolic
 \ngroups\, Garside groups\, CAT(0) cubical groups\, and braid groups act "
nicely"\non Helly graphs. This allows one to obtain new results on these c
lassical groups\,\nusing nonpositive-curvature-like behavior of Helly grap
 hs.\n
