 ing the behavior of scattering amplitudes in theoretical particle physics.
   In this talk\, we will explore a physics-inspired construction of a two-
 parameter family of polytopes -- and their curvy analogs -- which have pre
 scribed sets of $\\binom{n}{k}-n$ facet directions\; associahedra provide 
 the base case when $k=2$.\n
