 of superconductors. Based on an effective field theory approach\, Abrikoso
 v argued that when the force between them is repulsive\, stable periodic c
 onfigurations can form. In my talk I will consider similar constructions f
 or superfluids away from the critical temperature. Moreover\, I will discu
 ss how known field theories can exhibit phases which are not captured by A
 brikosov's considerations.\n
