  an interesting product for generalized Fibonacci sequences\, explore the 
 consequences of this definition\, extend this to a ring\, define the notio
 n of a prime among   these sequences\, and show that this ring contains in
 finitely many primes. This product   can be viewed as sums of shifts of sc
 alar multiples of the canonical Fibonacci sequence\,  and may provide new 
 insight into sequences of continuing interest.\n
