DESCRIPTION:Title: <a href="https://researchseminars.org/talk/BGUSAS/1/">T
he modular symbol (0\, \\infty) and Kato's Euler system</a>\nby Shanwen Wa
ng (Renmin University) as part of BGU sporadic Arithmetic Seminar\n\n\nAbs
tract\nIn this talk\, we will explain how to construct an element in the l
ocal Iwasawa cohomology of the galois representation associated to a modul
ar form starting from the modular symbol (0\,\\infty). By comparing with
Kato's Euler system\, we show that it is a global cohomological class. Thi
s is based on the joint work with Pierre Colmez.\n
